Retired Lieutenant Colonel Daria Dahle Jones is a strong supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project. The program aims to provide aid and support for injured service men and women. She also enjoys traveling and has visited locations including Honduras and Iraq while serving in the United States Army. In her spare time, Daria Dahle Jones hikes and walks her two dogs, Reba and Charley.
In 2010, Jones joined Gallup Indian Medical Center in New Mexico. As a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA), she is responsible for administering anesthesia to patients and providing coverage for the hospital in cases of emergencies. Additionally, the nurse supports the intensive care unit for line placement and intubations. Going above her traditional duties, Jones helped the hospital obtain funding for a new operating room glidescope. Jones pursued her education at the University of Texas in Houston, where she obtained a master’s degree in nursing. Jones also holds a bachelor’s degree in the field from the University of Evansville.
